This three storey extension to the terminal creates an additional 5,500ft² of security search accommodation.  Capacity is now provided for up to eight lanes in total, to screen hand luggage ahead of the departure lounge.  The new extension provides a new office / administration suite for staff and management along with their welfare facilities.
