A natural leader and organiser, Liam puts 110% into his work, always volunteering to take on new and greater responsibilities. Alongside his role leading our residential team, his ability to ‘see the bigger picture’ helps him take an overview of practice resources and he’s developed a new resource management system to support this.
Liam’s positive attitude and dedication was recently recognised by Constructing Excellence in the North East’s Generation4Change when they announced him as a finalist in their Future Leader awards category.
Even against this backdrop, Liam remains modest and self-depreciating. He’s always striving to help others learn and recently invested a lot of time building and maintaining Space’s new intranet to support our knowledge-sharing processes.
“I get more out of helping others achieve their goals, than I do from setting and achieving my own”.
Outside of work, Liam is an avid fan of Formula 1 and also enjoys painting with watercolours. Whilst he sees this as a relaxing pastime, he’s finding himself increasingly under pressure from friends and family, who are urging him to sell his growing collection of artwork so that others can find enjoyment in it too!
